| I know of a recent transaction where a part was ordered and money was taken, yet the part was not on hand and the person ordering the part wasn't notified. He had to email and ask for the status only to be told that the part was getting harder to come by and that it was going in the mail that day (about a week after the order was placed). Does that make Z1 a bad place to deal with? Not exactly - but I would think that it'd be a better thing for them to be more proactive with their customers about the status of the orders. Most people assume (yes, I know what happens when people assume) that they have the part in stock. A prudent buyer should ask if the part is in stock first before providing payment. But I also believe that companies should do a better job with being up front with the part availability. Z1 is not the only company that falls into situation - I've seen similar complaints about Courtesy from time to time. So this affects big and small companies alike. Yet, to me at least, it seems like a relatively simple thing to fix. Maybe I'm wrong on this. Dave
